Tim Tang — the Dean of Student Experience and Well-being at UTSC says Homecoming is a capstone for all the orientation and transition activities. This year saw about 1500 registrations. 

 The World Food Forum (WFF) expands to Ontario, its first chapter in North America — made exclusively of UTSC students and alumni — with a launch reception featuring local and global leaders in food security

Discussions about national security were centred around Canada’s relations with the United States, and promoting defence awareness among Canadian students and citizens.

With seven performances lined up for the crew across the 11 day festival, The Rhinoceros Collective is set to debut at Toronto Fringe.
